This authority itself and through its district legal service institutions organizes legal literacy and awareness programme in remotest areas of entire Uttar Pradesh on various subjects of legal importance. In this regard an action plan has also been implemented in order to organize theme based legal awareness camps in entire state. This authority also organizes Mega Legal Awareness Camps in coordination with educational institutions and NGOs to create legal awareness to large no. of persons.The Micro legal literacy camps are also organized by the District Legal Services Authorities with the help of Para Legal Volunteer, Panel Lawyers, Tehsildar, in collaboration with the Law Students & Law Collages in the far-flung areas/rural areas of the districts through which the legal aid is provided to the needy and weaker section of the society and to make people aware about their legal rights. Special awareness programs are also organized on various subjects to address and redress larger population on the subjects, of Cervical Cancer, AIDS, Transgender’s rights, Women & Children Rights, Prisoner’s Rights, Senior Citizens Rights, Property Rights, marginalized people etc.
